Starfield is one of the most hyped launches in 2023 and for good reason. Bethesda has not launched a new IP in a very long time and they’re finally releasing their first in more than 20 years.
In case you didn’t know already, Bethesda is known for some of the biggest IPs like Fallout and Elder Scrolls that are still popular till today.
Here’s when you can start playing Starfield if you have early access.
How to get early access for Starfield
To play Starfield a few days early, you will need to buy either the Premium edition or the Constellation edition.
For Game Pass members, you can also buy the Upgraded Game Pass Premium edition to get early access.
The official launch for Standard edition is the 6th of September 2023, while early access players can start on the 31st of August 2023 or the 1st of September 2o23, depending on which country you’re in.
If you bought Premium edition on Steam, you’re most likely entitled to early access even though the store page lists the official launch date.
Starfield early access release date and time
The release date and time for early access is 12:00 UTC on the 1st of September. This means in certain countries, you’ll be able to play on the 31st of August.
You’ll just need to convert 12:00 UTC (September 1) to your time zone.
