Your objective is to help Javi look for his “dream”.
Here’s a walkthrough of While The Dream Lingers in Genshin Impact.
To begin the quest, go southwest of Chatrakam Cave / northwest of Sumeru City. The location is provided in the map below, marked by the quest symbol.
You’ll see Javi waiting at the bottom, near the stream.
Help Javi look for his dream
You’ll then need to help him look for his “dream”. There are three spots to investigate. The “dream” is near a tree.
Give it to Javi.
Talk to Ami
Go to Port Ormos at the location shown below. It’s just one level below the Aranara Carving showcase.
You’ll see a little girl named Ami. Give the Sumeru Flower Seed. You can get the seed by buying it from the Serenitea Pot. There’s also an old gadget that allows you to pluck seeds instead of flowers when equipped.
The quest ends here.
