Each map in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 has a Gap checklist for you to fulfill.
Completing every Gap in the game will give you a Trophy (for Playstation).
In The Hangar, there are 22 Gaps in total. Here’s how you can do all of the Gaps in The Hangar in THPS 1 + 2.
All Gaps in The Hangar
Air Over The Door – 500 Points
Head to the area where the chopper is. You will see two quarter pipes separated by the outdoor entrance.
You have to jump off one quarter pipe and land on the other quarter pipe.
Chopper Hop – 100 Points
For this one, you simply need to go over from one section to the other (separated by the glass pane). You can use the quarter pipe to jump over and land on the other side’s quarter pipe.
Flyin High – 250 Points
You need to unlock the secret room first. To do so, grind on the propeller in between the half pipe to open the room.
Inside, you will see two half pipes separated by the entrance. You have to jump from one to the other (do a transfer).
Halfpipe Hangtime – 500 Points
You simply need to jump over the half pipe section.
It’s Cold Up Here – 250 Points
You have to unlock the outdoor area. Grind on the helicopter’s rotor to unlock the area.
Outside, you will see one quarter pipe. Just do a basic jump using the quarter pipe.
Rollin Gap – 100 Points
You just have to jump from one quarter pipe to the other, over the starting point ramp.
Skycrane Hangtime – 500 Points
Jump (Ollie) over the helicopter. It works even if the helicopter has flown away.
Wingtip Hangtime – 500 Points
Here, you just have to jump over the plane, using the ramp or the wings.
Big Light Hopper – 500 Points
You need to jump using the small ramp and grind on the hanging light. The image below is one good example.
To jump high enough, you need to get into ‘Special Mode’ and do a Boneless. Boneless means you have to tap UP twice before jumping off the ramp.
Halfpipe Grind – 250 Points
Grind on any of the curved rails on the halfpipe section.
Light Corner – 500 Points
Here, you need to grind on a hanging light, and then transition from one hanging light to the perpendicular hanging light.
It might take many tries to get the timing right.
Lil Light Hopper – 250 Points
Get into the half pipe section first. Use the half pipe to jump up and grind on the hanging light.
Rail-Guided Missile – 100 Points
Here, you need to grind on the center glass plane barrier first, and then jump and grind on the smaller barrier (image below).
Raildrop – 100 Points
Here, you need to get up and grind on the rail above the quarter pipe first.
Jump down and continue grinding on the quarter pipe.
Instrumental Landing – 500 Points
Jump over the plane and do a manual as you land.
Downwind Lip – 100 Points
In the wind tunnel area (secret room), do a liptrick on the half pipe on the right side of the entrance.
High Steppin’ – 100 Points
As you descend from the start point, go towards the right and you’ll see quarter pipes.
Above the quarter pipe, there’s a higher rail.
Jump using the quarter pipe and do a liptrick on the higher rail.
One Half Pipe Lip – 100 Points
Go to the half pipe section and do a liptrick on the right side of the half pipe.
The Other Half Pipe Lip – 100 Points
Go to the half pipe section and do a liptrick on the left side of the half pipe.
Upwind Lip – 100 Points
Head back to the wind tunnel room, and this time, do a liptrick on the half pipe (left of the entrance).
Wind Tunnel Back Wall – 100 Points
Do a liptrick on the half pipe towards the back.
Wing To Rail – 500 Points
Jump over the plane and grind on either the lower barrier or the center glass pane barrier.
