Egypt’s Medjay is a main quest in Assassin’s Creed Origins involving Apollodorus.
Your task is to meet Aya’s friend Apollodorus to learn more about what’s going on in Egypt.

1. Find Apollodorus’ contact
2. Speak to Apollodorus at the lighthouse
3. Find and rescue Damastes

6. Give the scroll to Apollodorus
7. Bring Apollodorus to his villa
Find Apollodorus’ contact
Your first objective is to look for Apollodorus’ contact near the Hippodrome. The location is shown in the map below.
As you get there, use Senu to get the exact location. Speak to this man here (image below).
Speak to Apollodorus
Now, you need to find Apollodorus at the lighthouse in Kanopos.
The exact location is shown in the map below.
As you reach the lighthouse, a cutscene will load.
Find and rescue Damastes
Apollodorus will test your skills by asking for your help in rescuing Damastes.
Get to Kanopos Harbor and look for him.
You will see guards surrounding the area. Try to stealth kill them.
Now, get to the cage and free Damastes. Try to only free him after the coast is clear.
Escort Damastes to safety
After freeing Damastes, he will run away and you have to follow him. If the coast isn’t clear, you have to kill the guards. Otherwise, they’ll probably hurt him.
Speak to him once he stops.
Find and retrieve the scroll
He will tell you that the scroll is on a ship, but the ship has sunk.
Get to Kanopos Lake and retrieve it from the bottom of the lake.
You can grab a small boat and get there. On the way, you have to use Senu to find the exact location.
Once you’ve found the location, dive into the bottom and you’ll see a sunken ship. Get the scroll from inside the ship.
Give the scroll to Apollodorus
Get back to Apollodorus at the exact location shown in the map below.
Bring Apollodorus to his villa
He will then invite you to his villa. Get to the location shown below.
He will get on the boat. Steer the boat towards his villa.
Now, you need to follow him to meet Cleopatra at the villa.
There’ll be cutscenes after this and the quest completes here.
