The Serpentine Path is a campaign quest under Act 5: Secrets Bartered, Fates Told in Diablo 4.
Your objective is to follow the serpent to the Tree of Whispers.

Follow Neyrelle
After the incense is lit and the cutscene has ended, follow Neyrelle.
Talk to Neyrelle when you’ve reached the giant serpent’s body.
Follow the serpent with your allies
Here, you’ll need to follow the body of the serpent and the way it goes. It’s mostly going north at this point.
Survive the ambush
You’ll be ambushed by the Nangari. Slay them all.
After the first wave, head towards the northeast part of the yellow circle on the mini map. Neyrelle will crawl under the serpent.
More demons will spawn after Neyrelle leaves. Defeat them all.
Reach Neyrelle
Then, head towards Neyrelle’s location and you’ll find a way to cross over.
The quest ends here. You’ll earn XP and coins.
