On The Precipice is a campaign quest under Act 5: Secrets Bartered, Fates Sold in Diablo 4.
Your objective is to rejoin your allies at the Zakarum Keep.

Rejoin your allies
Head back to Zakarum Keep to rejoin your allies, as marked in the map below.
Speak with Donan.
Follow Donan into the Black Tomb of Sankekur
Head inside the Foul Undercrypts, following Donan.
Go all the way in.
You’ll eventually reach the tomb. Talk to Donan to begin.
Follow Taissa
During the ritual, you’ll realize that Elias is here. Follow Taissa as she chases after him.
Keep going until you see the two of them.
Slay Elias
Now that Elias is no longer immortal, you can fight him the last time.
He can spawn demons during the battle.
Also, watch out for the blood magic which attacks almost the entire map.
After the battle, Elias finally runs away.
The quest ends here. You’ll get some items, XP and coins.
