Dirge of the Mire is a campaign quest under Act 5: Secrets Bartered, Fates Told in Diablo 4.
Your objective is to continue to look for the Tree of Whispers.

Speak with Neyrelle
Talk to Neyrelle as the quest begins.
Follow the serpent with your allies
Continue to follow the serpent trail and the direction the serpent is going. Just walk along its body.
You’ll then reach a part where the serpent seems wounded.
Find a way through the mire
Attack the wounded underside to go through.
Destroy the dead trees
Continue exploring and you’ll see some dead trees. Destroy them to proceed.
Follow your allies into the Voiceless Grove
Continue to follow your allies into the Voiceless Grove.
Destroy the Wailing Soul
You’ll then meet a Wailing Soul. Slay it.
Slay all enemies
All the spirits will then spawn. Slay all of them.
Follow Neyrelle
Once the enemies are gone, follow Neyrelle again.
Talk to Neyrelle when she stops.
The quest ends here. You’ll earn XP and coins.
