The Scouring Of Caldeum is a campaign quest under Act 6: Dance of the Makers in Diablo 4.
Your objective is to escort your allies through Caldeum.

Tell Prava you are ready
To begin, talk to Reverend Mother Prava.
Escort your allies through Caldeum
You will then need to escort your allies through Caldeum. Walk at their pace or they will stop walking.
There will be tons of demons along the way. Take them down.
Kill demons attacking from above
At one point, attacks will come from the top.
You have to kill the demons above. Use the ladder to go to the rooftop.
Slay all of the demons on the rooftop.
Investigate the large rooftop
Continue to the other rooftop using the zipline.
Slay the Demon Commander
You will meet the Demon Commander, Uznu the Annihilator, on the large rooftop. Slay this demon and the other fiends.
Rejoin your allies
After you’re done, rejoin your allies by using the ladder to go down.
Escort your allies
Once again, escort your allies through Caldeum.
Speak with Lorath
Next, talk to Lorath.
Open the gate
You will then need to open the gate. Climb to the rooftop and interact with the Gate Winch to open the gate.
The quest ends here. Some demons will spawn.
