Research Tanalorr On Koboh is a main objective in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Your objective is to find Dagan Gera’s hideout in Koboh and find out what happened there.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide on Research Tanalorr On Koboh in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
To begin the objective, fly to Koboh.
Then, head to the main objective marker on the map as shown below.
Look for the hideout
It will lead you to a big gate with some droids. You can’t get through this gate yet.
Head to the left side instead (walk around the watchtower) and you’ll see a relter waiting. Use it to fly to the other side.
Then, use the wall to wall run and climb up the roots.
You will then reach Igneous Fissure and the first meditation point.
Proceed ahead.
You will reach another relter. Use it and fly further.
Defeat Korej Lim
When you’re flying, you’ll be ambushed by a bounty hunter named Korej Lim.
Take him out.
After the fight, you’ll be introduced to the bounty hunter system where you can go after bounty hunters to earn rewards.
Proceed ahead
Use the hook to go up where the lady is. You’ll see a room but you can’t get through the door.
Instead of entering the room, look outside and you’ll see a wall you can jump onto and then grab onto the vines.
Go up and you’ll see another relter waiting for you. Use it to the other side.
There’s a meditation point there.
First puzzle room guide
This area is where the first puzzle starts. You don’t need to use the relter / bird yet.
Look up and use the hook to climb on the ledge.
At the top, jump over to the other side.
This is the first puzzle room.
Drag the box down.
You can then use force to push the screw twice and it will move the laser all the way to the end.
Grab the orb and then throw it to the other side’s slot through the broken window.
Get past the gap again and you can now pull the orb towards you.
Bring the orb outside and throw it to the device.
Aim the device at the purple glowing things on the other pillar.
After it gets destroyed, more hot air will come out.
Use the relter and fly towards the air. It will blow you even higher than before.
This time, you can reach the first platform.
Second puzzle room guide
You will now reach the second puzzle room. As soon as the floor breaks, you’ll encounter two beasts at the same time.
Take them out.
After the fight, pull down the breakable wall with force. You’ll find a brazier inside.
Then, pull the orb from the laser device.
Throw the orb towards the brazier that was behind the breakable wall.
You will now see a new path on the right side.
Go there and interact with a cache. You will unlock a Koboh Grinder for BD-1. It enables you to spray Koboh matter on surfaces.
Spray the Koboh matter from the laser impact site up until the other Koboh stuff. They will all melt from the fire.
Do the same for the datadisc on the upper side of the wall.
Now, go back to the first area. Pull the orb from the brazier and place it back to the laser device.
Use the Koboh matter and spray it around the laser impact. The fire will spread following the Koboh matter.
You can now leave using the wall to jump up.
Take the object on the ground.
Now, pull the orb to you from above.
Place the orb on the wall slot and then wall run to the other side.
Pull the orb with you again and place the orb on the laser device outside.
Aim the device at the purple glowing stuff.
You can now use the relter to go to the upper level.
Third puzzle room guide
In the third area, defeat the enemies first. Enter the room via the gap and there’s another enemy waiting inside.
You will then see a box on the wall. Use the force to pull it down.
Push the box towards the half-opened gate. This will prevent the gate from closing later.
Now, pull the orb from the device in the innermost room. The gate will close but the box will stop it from closing fully.
Place the orb on the laser device.
Now, use Koboh matter again to burn those obstacles. Take the stuff inside.
To bring the orb out, you need to melt the matter at the waterfall area.
To do so, spray the Koboh matter from the inside. Line it up from the obstacle all the way to the laser impact via the small gap.
It will eventually burn down and you can now take the orb out.
Place the orb on the device outside.
Aim it at the purple glowing stuff.
Finally, you can use the relter to go to the last destination via the hot air pushing you up.
Defeat Tague Louesh
Enter the building and you’ll have to immediately fight Tague Louesh. This boss is one of the easiest so far.
After the fight, continue exploring inside.
Take the High Republic device from the table.
You can then exit the area via the vines above.
Use the relter to fly back to your meditation point and you can fast travel back.
