Labyrinthine is a puzzle horror game that can either be played alone or with friends.
Like the previous chapters, you will also need to find a way to get to the next chapter.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of chapter 3 of Labyrinthine.
Objective of Chapter 3
If you’re playing this for the first time, you may not know what you’re supposed to do yet.
In this chapter, you’ll be introduced to a tree creature who is pretty big. You will die if it catches you. To repel the creature, you have to stand within a bonfire’s range. There are bonfires scattered around the map.
The main objective is to open the door in the cemetery. To do so, you need to find:
- a ritual dagger
- three tree effigies
That said, you can’t get the effigies if you haven’t found the dagger and the notes beside the dagger.
How to get the dagger
The first thing you need to do is to find a house. The house has a gramophone in it and you may actually hear the music playing from afar.
One way of finding the house is by following the lamp posts that are lit.
You should be able to stumble upon a house along the path.
Inside, you will find many locked rooms.
Look for a key inside one of the drawers.
Then, go upstairs and unlock the first door you see.
There’ll be rooms that are unlocked while the rest are locked. Look for a key inside one of the opened rooms.
Use the key to unlock the next door which may be downstairs.
In the next area, look for a key on the shelf and unlock the next door.
You will then find a drawer which is locked. Try looking for a key above the drawer. If you can’t find it, try opening the drawer until a key drops.
Open the next locked door. Inside, you’ll find a skeleton on the table. Take the key from the skull’s mouth.
Open one of the locked rooms upstairs.
Inside, you’ll find a key on the painting. Take it to unlock the next room.
You will then find a cupboard with books on it. Interact with one of the books to open the door.
You will then find stairs to the attic.
Use the stairs up and you’ll find a book telling you how to open the door at the cemetery. Take the dagger beside the book.
From now on, you’ll be able to grab the effigies.
How to get the effigies
There are 3 tree effigies in the map. To find them, you need to go around until you hear some whispering voices. This means the effigy is nearby.
These effigies are glowing in purple so you should be able to spot them.
Open the door at the cemetery
To complete the chapter, head to the cemetery near the house. Once you have three effigies and the dagger, you can open the door.
Enter the building and you’ll fall to the bottom. The chapter ends here.
