Lies Cast Shadows Under Gathered Lights is an Archon quest under Chapter 4: Act 1 of Genshin Impact.
Your objective is to defend Lyney and Lynette against the accusations.

Look for clues inside the opera house
After the cutscenes, you will need to find clues inside the opera house.
Press E to scan the area around you for clues to examine. The stage will have 1 clue.
Then, head to the seating area and at the back to find the second clue.
To look for the third clue, exit the door behind Lyney.
You’ll be introduced to Navia.
After talking to Navia, go on ahead to the main door and talk to Tristane for the third clue.
Talk to Lyney
Next, go back to Lyney and ask him how he’s doing on his end.
Search the underground passage for clues
Like before, you have to examine the clues in the underground area.
Return to the surface via the ladder when you’re done investigating.
Wait until the trial starts
You will then need to wait until 08:00 – 10:00 the next day. Just fast forward time.
The trial then begins.
During the trial, Lyney and Lynette will be revealed to be part of the Fatui.
You will then need to speak with them outside to learn more.
Continue taking part in the trial
Head back into the opera house to take part in the trial.
During the trial, you have to make some choices, but you can’t go wrong as the game won’t let you.
Just choose the correct clues to refute Furina’s accusations.
There will also be other types of thought process interactions. For the first part, you won’t be able to get all 4 answers. Only 3/4 at the time.
During the story, you’ll learn of a new clue which helps you get 4/4.
To reconstruct the criminal’s plan, do the same thing and make the right choices. You can’t get it wrong anyway.
Leave the opera house
After the trial is over and Lyney and Lynette are not guilty, you will have to talk to them.
Then, leave the opera house.
As you’re leaving, Navia will invite for a meal.
The quest ends here. Act 1 also ends here.
