Genshin Impact finally launches its version 3.0 and with it comes a new region Sumeru.
In this region, one of the challenges the Traveler will face is a Withering Zone. It’s basically an area where plants die and you have to get rid of the tumor to stop the withering.
Here’s how you can clear Withering Zones in Genshin Impact.
Summon Dendrograna
In each of the Withering Zones, you should see at least one place to summon Dendrograna.
You’ll need it to get rid of the rotten plants.
Watch out for decay accumulation
You will see red bars above your HP which indicates decay accumulation. Ensure it doesn’t get filled up.
One way to slow it down is to activate Candles of Life (statue) or Flames of Life.
Destroy the small red plants
In the middle you will see the big red plant which is the tumor. Before you can destroy the tumor, you need to destroy the small red plants that are connected to the tumor.
You may want to get rid of the mobs first.
Then, with the Dendrograna, use a charged melee attack or arrow to destroy the plant.
Do the same for all the small red plants.
Destroy the tumor
Once the small plants are gone, a group of mobs will spawn to protect the tumor. Take them out first.
Go towards the tumor and you simply need to interact with it to clear the Withering Zone.
