Afratu’s Dilemma is a world quest located in the desert region of Sumeru.
Your objective is to help disable the Ruin Golem by accessing its cockpit.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Afratu’s Dilemma in Genshin Impact.
To begin the quest, head to the Valley of Dahri and you’ll find the quest marker as shown in the map below.
You can use the Statue of the Seven nearby and glide to the east.
Talk to the guy from Akademiya who is at the bottom of the valley.
Find a way to enter the robot
You first need to find a way into the Ruin Golem. Go to the marker.
You will start to get fired upon by the Ruin Golem. There’s a Seelie.
Follow the Seelie.
The Seelie will disappear behind some rocks. Get in front of the rocks and wait for the Golem to target you. Then dodge away as the missile destroys the rocks.
You will now see a new path ahead. Follow it.
Continue exploring
Keep going until you see vines blocking. You have to break Suda’s Flow by hitting the greenish orb in the middle.
Continue ahead until the next Suda’s Flow. Destroy it the same way by melee.
In the next area, defeat the enemies and unlock the chest.
Continue to make your way up using the four-leaf sigils.
You will then reach a teleport waypoint at the top. Continue ahead.
Go through the robot’s arm
Keep going until you see the robot’s arm. Defeat the Ruin Guard along the way.
Use a ranged attack to break Suda’s Flow.
To open the door, break Suda’s Flow.
You will find yourself inside the robot.
Break Suda’s Flow at 3 locations
The next objective is to break Suda’s Flow at 3 locations. Do look around for Dendroculi as well.
Look for the door which is blocked by the vines and destroy it.
You’ll see more vines inside. Break Suda’s Flow by destroying the green orbs.
It will then unlock another door at the opposite side of the Golem.
Go to the door and you’ll see more vines to destroy.
The final one is at the bottom. Jump down the hole in the middle.
Break Suda’s Flow in the last location by destroying all the green orbs.
Enter the cockpit
Go back up and enter the cockpit.
Use the Ruin Golem. You can destroy rocks using the beam cannon. They are highlighted on the screen.
Report back to Afratu
When you’re done, go back to Afratu to complete the quest.
