Ever So Close is an Archon quest that is available in Port Ormos of Sumeru.
Your objective is to discuss business with Alhaitham after gaining Dori’s trust.

To begin, look for Alhaitham at the location marked on the map.
You will see him at the building filled with Akademiya students.
Test the canned knowledge
To test the extra canned knowledge, head north to the marked area.
Talk to Alhaitham to begin. Initiate the first combat test by defeating the Fungi.
Return to Alhaitham again and this time, use the canned knowledge in your quest inventory.
After using it, go for a second combat test against the same Fungi.
Wait until 7 am two days from now
After the test, wait until 7 am two days from now. You can fast forward using the clock.
Ask Dori about the Divine Knowledge Capsule
Go back to Dori at Port Ormos to ask her where the Divine Knowledge Capsule went to.
Inform Alhaitham
Head back to Alhaitham at the same spot to inform him that Mizri took it.
Go to the agreed location
Next, head to the location marked on the map to fight with the Ayn Al-Ahmar.
Defeat the Ayn Al-Ahmar members
Take out the Ayn Al-Ahmar’s members which should be quite easy.
After the fight, Alhaitham secretly steals the Divine Knowledge Capsule without the Akademiya’s and the Traveler’s knowledge.
