Windbound is a new game just released hours ago on PC and other platforms.
This game is mainly on survival and crafting, and since you’re stuck on an island, you’ll have to build a boat.
Here’s how you can craft a boat to sail the seas in Windbound.
Get the Oar of the Ancestors
Before you can get the boat recipe, you need to get the Oar of the Ancestors.
In the first island you’re stuck in, you will see a unique platform with stairs going up. Just go up the stairs and you’ll automatically get the magical oar.
How to build a boat
Once you have the recipe, you just need to find thick grass and grass rope.
Grass rope is crafted using thick grass. Two thick grass = one grass rope.
This means you need eight thick grass in total for a grass canoe (boat).
You can find thick grass all around the island. They’re brownish in color as shown in the image below.
Once you have all the materials ready, head to the sea and place the boat.
You can now move easily from one island to the next.
