You just need to look for the greenish looking effigies in the open world.
There is one right at the start of the game, below the waterfall.
You can find another just under an arch not too far from the starting point.
It’s near the second fast travel statue, past the huge Mammorest Pals.
Gather these Lifmunk Effigies and then build a Statue of Power at your base.
Offer the Lifmunk Effigy at the statue to enhance your Capture Power. This will aid in catching Pals.
