Back To Vectera is a Constellation main story mission in Starfield.
Your objective is to rescue both Barrett and Heller who were taken from Vectera.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Back To Vectera in Starfield.
Go to Vectera
Return to Vectera which is located in the Narion system.
Land on the Argos Extractors Mining Outpost.
Talk to Lin
As you arrive, you’ll see Lin waiting. Talk to her.
Fix the Comms Computer
She’ll tell you that Barrett and Heller both got taken to some unknown location.
Head to the building where the Comms Computer is.
You’ll find it behind a locked door.
Use a Digipick to unlock the door.
Activate the Comms Computer.
Listen to Emergency Transmission 01
You will receive the Emergency Transmission 01 in your inventory. Open and listen to it.
Return to Lin when you’re done.
(Optional) Recruit Lin as a crew member
You can now recruit Lin as your crew member if you wish to.
Head to Altair
The next destination is Altair which is close to Narion.
Go to the Crashed Ship on Altair.
Find Barrett and Heller
Head towards the Crashed Ship to find Barrett and Heller.
When you arrive, you’ll see Heller alone.
Talk to Heller.
(Optional) Recruit Heller
You can also recruit Heller as your crew member if you want to. His traits are Geology and Outpost Engineering.
Listen to Emergency Transmission 02
Next, check your inventory for Emergency Transmission 02 and listen to it.
Go to Bessel III
The next destination is the Bessel system which is also nearby.
Land on the Ransacked Research Outpost on Bessel III.
Rescue Barrett
When you arrive at the vicinity of the outpost, you’ll encounter a number of Crimson Fleet soldiers.
Slay them all.
Then, enter the outpost to rescue Barrett.
Inside, you’ll come across 3 or 4 enemies. Take them down.
Go back to The Lodge
After rescuing Barrett and you’re done looting stuff, go back to The Lodge in Jemison.
The mission ends here. You can choose to have Barrett as your companion or just go with someone else.
