The Lost Shrine is one of the places you’ll come across in NieR Replicant 1.22.
Your objective is to find Yonah who has gone into the place to seek for Lunar Tears.
Here’s a walkthrough on finding Yonah at the Lost Shrine in NieR Replicant.
How to find the Lost Shrine
To get to the Lost Shrine, you need to use the Eastern Gate from the village.
Once you’re here, you will see the Lost Shrine: Exterior as marked on the map. Use the path on the left.
How to get to the rooftop
After reaching the area, you will see a huge tree.
Just follow the stairs up. On the way up, destroy the boxes. One of them should give you the map for this place.
The stairs will lead to a dead end.
You will see a locked door instead. You’ll need to find a Bronze Key which is located within one of the rooms. There should be Shades in the area.
Take the key and use it to unlock the door.
Continue ahead and you’ll face more Shades.
Once you’re out, you will see the staircase on the other side. You just have to follow your own path.
Climb up the ladder.
Use the rooms again to get to the next side.
Finally, you’ll see a big door at the top floor. Use it to go outside.
Once you’re outside, just follow the steps all the way to the rooftop.
How to enter the Lost Shrine
Make your way to the main door.
You will face a dead end.
To get to the door, you need to find a big cube that you can move. Drag it to the broken ladder.
Use the cube to jump to the upper floor.
Here, you can save the game first. There’ll be a boss fight as you enter the door.
Boss Fight
Once you’re in, you will see Yonah behind the barrier.
There’ll be small Shades that will keep spawning.
To get to the next stage, keep attacking the book in the middle. Once the barrier breaks, the book will be set free.
More Shades will spawn. Talk to the book (Grimoire Weiss) for assistance and he’ll join you.
You will then unlock a few magic abilities including Dark Blast. You can try them out on the Shades.
After some time, the two huge guards will start to attack you.
Here, you can use both magic and physical attacks to deal damage. The guards also take turns to shield themselves. When one is protected, attack the other vulnerable one.
Continue the process until you see the clock appear. Destroy the clock thingy before the time is up to defeat each boss.
