Beyond This World’s Stars is a quest under Mona Megistus in Genshin Impact.
Your task is to meet Mona and help her with her journey to find a rival’s apprentice.

To begin the quest, you must have reached Adventure Rank 38 and unlocked this story quest using the daily commissions’ key.
This walkthrough will be divided into various sub-quests.
Astrology and the 50-Year Pact
In the first sub-quest, you’re required to go to the waypoint north of Liyue Harbor.
The exact location is marked in the map.
As you reach the spot, a cutscene will trigger, introducing Mona Megistus as an astrologer.
Next, follow her to the village nearby to say farewell to Mr. Zhu.
As Mr. Zhu’s jade ring was stolen, you need to find it. Head to the marked location to attract the slimes.
Slimes of different elements will spawn in waves. Take them all out and the jade ring will be found.
Return to Mr. Zhu to give the ring.
To Mondstadt
The second sub-quest is To Mondstadt.
The first destination is Wangzhu Inn. You can use the waypoint at the top of the inn. Jump to the bottom of the area and you’ll find Mona waiting at the table.
Sit beside her.
As Mona didn’t eat much, you’ll need to make a dish for her. Head back to the top of the inn and talk to the innkeeper.
Next, go to the kitchen nearby and learn the golden crab recipe. If you don’t already have the golden crab, you probably need to make it.
Most of the ingredients can be bought from shops. Here’s how you can find crabs.
Once you have the dish, return to Mona at the table.
After the meal, continue your journey to the Stone Gate up north.
After the cutscene, you need to defeat the bandits. You’re given a chance to use Mona for this fight.
A Bewildering Fate
The next sub-quest is A Bewildering Fate.
Get to Mondstadt. You can use the waypoint just outside of Mondstadt.
Walk towards the bridge to trigger the cutscene. You’ll learn that the rival apprentice is actually Klee after all, but she doesn’t know anything about Mona.
Follow Klee to retrieve a certain box that was passed down by her mother.
You’ll then be required to defeat several Dendro slimes.
After the fight, go back to Mona at the bridge to Mondstadt.
Mona discovers that what she’s looking for is actually not important after all. She’s then stuck in Mondstadt as she doesn’t want to return to her master, and you need to help her find a place to stay.
Talk to Katheryne at the Adventurer’s Guild.
Next, head to the magical laboratory on the left side of Mondstadt.
Investigate the seal. During the cutscene, Mona will be able to break off the seal and she’ll rent the place.
The quest ends here.
