Settling Down is a main quest in Ravensthorpe in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Your task is to settle down in Ravensthorpe by first building a blacksmith forge.

Speak to Gunnar
Your first objective is to talk to Gunnar.
Take command of the longship
Next, get to the longship at the dock. You’ll need to lead a group to raid a monastery nearby.
Raid a monastery
You can raid the Alcestre Monastery just nearby, as shown in the map.
When you arrive, click on raid to begin.
Here, you will encounter a number of English guards but you don’t have to kill them all. The main aim is to steal the supplies and there are two different supplies.
The first building can be broken in easily through the front door.
Take the construction supplies from the chest inside.
There’s another building with supplies but this one requires the help of another crew member to force open the door.
Like before, open the chest to get some construction materials.
Return to Gunnar
Get back to your settlement in Ravensthorpe. Use the notice board near Gunnar to build the forge.
Talk to Sigurd
Next, meet Sigurd at the longhouse.
He’ll ask you to get acquainted with the room. Just examine the marked areas.
Meet Sigurd at the stable
Finally, go to Rowan’s stable to meet Sigurd again. Here, he’ll decide to find the Ragnarssons up north and he’ll go himself.
You will need to continue building the settlement here with Dag and Randvi. The quest ends after the cutscene.
